microDAC® - Measurement services for digital image and volume correlation
Services

We offer measurement and analysis services with our microDAC® systems for digital image and digital volume correlation, x-ray computer tomography as well as metallographic and microscopic methods. These methods are used in many areas of science and technology: from material and component testing to failure or deformation analysis.

We also support our customers with our methods in their research projects and are pleased to support them as experts in the development of innovative measurement methods in the field of reliability analysis of electronic components and systems as well as developers of special software and hardware solutions for motion and deformation analysis.

You supply image or video sequences of motion, deformation and damage processes - we analyse your images with our microDAC® software VEDDAC.

We offer deformation and strain measurements for the analysis of failure mechanisms or the determination of material parameters both on the specimen surface and inside the specimen. Measurements can be carried out in-house or on your premises.

Metallografie - failure analysis

Metallographic microsection analysis is a preferred method for visualizing the microstructure of materials and composites. The method is used, among other things, to find possible causes of failures and malfunctions. In the case of such tasks within the scope of damage analyses, a preliminary X-ray inspection is advisable in order to enable target preparation to conspicuous locations.
